Rachael Olley, our Operations Manager, Mike Francis (of the Guy Francis Bone Cancer Research Trust) and Gayle Routledge (of A Child of Mine) are our representatives on the Editorial Board of Contact Magazine
CCPA is a partner on the Editorial Board of Contact magazine, an award-winning magazine dedicated to sharing knowledge of childhood cancer issues.
Contact is distributed through the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) to all of the CCLG treatment centres. The magazine is also available free of charge to families of children and young people with cancer, and can also be accessed online at no cost.
Articles range in focus from families with a newly diagnosed child to those undergoing treatment and beyond, as well as bereaved families. The quarterly publication is also highly relevant to professionals in the field and anyone with an interest in childhood cancer.
Contact provides a unique blend of reliable, up to date information on childhood cancer, treatment and current research, and human interest stories from families and survivors. The magazine aims to provide continuing support to affected families, whatever the outcome of the child’s illness, to aid understanding of the research process and convey a message of hope and optimism.
As well as hard copy subscriptions, Contact may be viewed, listened to or downloaded on-line. Archived editions may also be viewed online.
